Museum adds dance floor
The Children’s Museum of Memphis has a new children’s disco, Sir Dance-A-Lot. Children love music and dancing — plus it’s a great way to get children to exercise and release energy, too. The dance club was installed in some previously unused space under the Time Square exhibit and has quickly become a huge hit with guests.
“It’s fun to watch children and their parents in this new exhibit dancing away,” said Richard C. Hackett, CMOM chief executive officer. “It brings families together as they dance, clap and sign to fun tunes and pop music.”
Sir Dance-A-Lot features knights in shining armor, mirrors, holograms, a mirrored disco ball and floor, flashing colored lights, and more. The atmosphere wakes up the “dancing star” in every child!
Sir Dance-A-Lot is included with museum admission. For more details, visit the museum’s Web site at cmom.com or call (901) 458-2678.
