It was a wet, muggy night when Rob Wilds and the Tennessee Crossroads crew rolled into Martin but the smell of great barbecue and the sound of good ol’ bluegrass music filled the air.
Wilds will take viewers of Tennessee Crossroads along on his first visit to the Tennessee Soybean Festival in Martin when the show airs on WLJT-TV/DT, Channel 11 on Nov. 1 at 8 p.m. and Nov. 3 at 11 a.m. Other segments featured on this program will include “Amazin’ Acres” from Sparta; “Sword Swallower” from Nashville; and “Lairdland Farm House” from Cornersville.
The Tennessee Soybean Festival is held in Martin the week of Labor Day each year and attracts thousands of people from the surrounding area as well as other states and even other countries.
Tennessee Crossroads travels the highways and byways of Tennessee, highlighting the personalities, crafts, places, foods and events that make Tennessee special and its character unique.
