The Gleason Rotary Club recently held a meeting Oct. 1 at the Gleason Community Building. District Rotary Gov. Rufus Clifford Jr. was also in attendance. The meeting highlighted the accomplishments of the club in getting the Community Building functional in this past year. Gleason Club President Edgar Floyd commended all the community for the support of the building and expressed appreciation to the city of Gleason. Past President Dr. Dale Mathis presented Clifford with a plaque of appreciation for his support of the Gleason Community Center, saying that another large plaque of major donors will be placed in the building soon. The Gleason Rotary Club invites everyone to the fundraiser, a spaghetti supper at the Gleason School from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 19. Gleason Rotary Club invites visitors and prospective members to their meetings at 6 p.m. Mondays at the Gleason Community Building on North Cedar Street. None
