Farmers Insurance Group Inc., a national sponsor of the March of Dimes, has launched a national bus tour called “Every Baby Has a Story.”
It will stop in Memphis Thursday at the Wolfechase Galleria, located at 2760 North Germantown Parkwa, from 11:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. and at Kinko’s at Hack’s Cross, located at 6233 Winchester Road, from 4-6.
The bus will travel across the country collecting baby stories before ending in New York City on Nov. 13.
On the bus, families will be able to write about or share their baby’s story on camera for a video storybook. For every story shared on the bus, Farmers will donate $20 to the March of Dimes. These stories will also be on online at marchofdimes.com/everybaby.
“In Tennessee we are committed to the March of Dimes,” said Betsy Nealon, state executive director of Farmers in Tennessee. “What better way to share our dedication, than to share the stories that shaped this dedication and commitment to this fine cause.”
“Each ‘story’ reminds us how important the work of the March of Dimes is to families all across this country,” said Paul N. Hopkins, chief executive officer of Farmers Group Inc. “Sharing these stories raises money and more importantly raises hope for those families struggling with premature babies.”
