Admissions suspension lifted at Tiptonville’s Reelfoot Manor

The Tennessee Department of Health has announced that the suspension of admissions at Reelfoot Manor nursing home in Lake County has been lifted, effective Oct. 17.
Reelfoot Manor is a 116-bed licensed nursing home located at 1034 Reelfoot Drive in Tiptonville. The department conducted a follow-up survey and confirmed the facility has returned to substantial compliance for state licensing purposes, and the deficient practices and conditions have been corrected as stated in the facility’s plan of correction, which was approved by federal and state authorities.
On Oct. 3, Reelfoot Manor was ordered not to admit any new patients based on conditions found during an annual survey conducted Sept. 23 through Sept. 25. During the investigation, surveyors found violations of administration and basic services, nursing services and pharmaceutical services standards.
