Mandy Douthit, 76, of Tiptonville died Oct. 19, 2007, at her home.
Services were set for 1 p.m. today at Calvary Independent Baptist Church, with burial following in New Haven Cemetery in Ridgely.
The Rev. Carl Southerland was to officiate. Pallbearers were to be Greg Story, Joe Marvin Jr., Jeff Ogden, Jason McClain, Rodney Marvin and Pete LaMora. Honorary pallbearers were to be James Boyd Eddlemon and her sons-in-law.
The family requests that memorials be made to Care-All Home Health in Ridgely, the Hospice program or American Cancer Society.
Dyersburg Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
She was a retired employee of Henry I. Siegel Co. and was a Christian by faith. She was also active in the Relay for Life program.
Survivors include five daughters and sons-in-law, Cindy and Tommy Childress of Anniston, Ala., Lynette and Gene Hopper, Melissa and Loren Leinweber and Delila and William “Baldy” Curvin, all of Tiptonville; and Darlene and Pete LaMora of Longmont, Colo.; five sisters, Lucile Thompson of Union City, Lillian Ogden of Ripley and Allene “Sissy” Story, Elizabeth “Tooter” Parker and Mary Marvin, all of Tiptonville; her brother, Billy Marvin of Ridgely; seven grandchildren, Jill Craft, Jennifer Furr, Crystal Tolley, Becky Taylor, Abigail LaMora, Katie Poole and Josh Leinweber; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Coy Douthit; two grandchildren, William Matthew Curvin and Brandon Leinweber; two brothers, Markham Marvin and Joe Marvin; and her sister, Nora Lee Berry.
