FEATURED IN MAGAZINE — Tim Revell, president of Revell Construction Inc. in Union City, is featured on the front of the Summer 2007 edition of GroundBreaker magazine, a publication that offers information on equipment selection, application and maintenance, as well as news and tips on other subjects of interest to excavation contractors. A three-page article published in the magazine features brothers Tim and Mike Revell’s business, which specializes in underground utility construction for municipalities and other governmental units, and focuses on the Cat® 420E Backhoe Loader and how it meets the local company’s high productivity demands. Photos in the magazine show Revell Construction crew members trenching with the piece of equipment to relocate a water line along U.S. Highway 64 in southwest Tennessee, where a winding two-lane road is being upgraded to a four-lane highway. The magazine article notes that it is the kind of project at which Revell Construction as excelled for 35 years. Their part of the six-month Highway 64 project consists of removing and relocating 30,000 feet of water line along the roadway. The $1 million project reportedly entails removing the existing six-inch pipeline and reinstalling four- to 10-inch lines along with hydrants and other infrastructure. “It was a project worth gearing up for, and so earlier this year the brothers went hunting for the ideal backhoe leader to meet the demands of the job,” according to GroundBreaker magazine, which detailed their selection of the Cat® 420E from Thompson Machinery.
