Books For the Journey, the new book discussion group with a spiritual focus at the Obion County Public Library, has moved its Thursday meeting location there to the Teacher Resource Center in the facility. The library is located at 1221 East Reelfoot Ave. in Union City.
The session will begin at noon and those taking part are invited to bring sack lunches. The group, which is facilitated by the Rev. Doy Daniels Jr. and hosted by Pam Murphy, will be viewing a DVD about Dietrich Bonhoeffer, Christian pastor, theologian, member of the German Resistance movement against Nazism and founding member of the Confessing Church. In the coming weeks, the group will be reading his work and discussing it at the sessions.
For more information, call the library at 885-7000. The sessions are open to all who would like to attend and are free.
