Final plans announced Miss Covington, Denman
Final plans are being announced today for the upcoming wedding of Emmylou Covington of the Fremont community and William Denman of Hornbeak.
The couple will exchange vows at 7 p.m. Friday at Bishop Street church of Christ in Union City. Music will begin at 6:45.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Jana Covington of the Fremont community and the late Wayne Covington. She is the granddaughter of Jack and Jean Freeman of the Fremont community and the late Paul and Louise Covington of Union City. Miss Covington will be given away on this special day by her grandfather.
Denman is the son of Bill and Judy Denman of Hornbeak. His grandparents are Doris Long and the late Eugene Long of Hornbeak.
Hayes Grady, a long-time preacher for the Fremont church of Christ, of Murray, Ky., will officiate the double-ring ceremony. The father of the groom-elect will offer a prayer.
Serving as maid of honor will be Kristi Roberson of Union City, a life-long friend of the bride-elect. Bridesmaids will be Rachel Grow and Sara Oliver, friends of the bride-elect, and JohnAnne Harris, cousin of the bride-elect, all of Union City. Kadi Oliver of Union City, friend of the bride-elect, will be the flower girl.
Serving as best man will be Johnathan Denman, brother of the groom-elect, of Hornbeak. Groomsmen will be Alan Harper of Henderson, Aaron Norris of Rock Wall, Texas, and Jared Barnes of Union City, all friends of the bridal couple. Ushers will be Josh Darnall of Hornbeak and Dustin Darnall of Hendersonville, cousins of the groom-elect.
Johnny Freeman of Union City, uncle of the bride-elect, will seat the mother and grandmother of the bride-elect.
Register attendants will be Paulina and Isabella Castro, cousins of the bride-elect, of Union City.
A reception will be held following the ceremony in the basement of the church. Servers will be Charley Morgan and Allie Moss, both of Covington, and Julianne Lawson of Union City, all cousins of the bride-elect, and Merany Norrid of Union City, friend of the bride-elect.
Distributing the bubbles for the couple will be MaryBeth Shannon of Alamo and Francesca Castro of Union City, both cousins of the bride-elect.
The couple will reside in Troy.
Only out-of-town invitations are being sent. All family and friends are invited to attend the wedding and reception.
