Donald Eugene “Hollywood” Lovell, 43, of Ridgely died Oct. 8, 2007, at his home.
Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Ridgely chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home, with Eric Burress officiating. Burial will follow in Minnick Cemetery in Elbridge community.
Pallbearers will be Joshua Lovell, Mack Lovell, Brandon Harrell, Walter Wilkerson Jr., Danny Childress, Joshua Barnes, Chris Baggett and Andy Davis. Honorary pallbearers will be Jonathon Deason, Matt Deason and Ronald Wood.
Friends may call at the funeral home 5:30-8 p.m. today.
He was born Aug. 18, 1964, in Dyersburg, son of Roy G. and Elizabeth (Rinks) Lovell of Ridgely. He had been married to Anna Lovell of Dyersburg, who survives.
He was a member of Cottonwood Baptist Church and was a correctional officer at Northwest Correctional Center.
Survivors also include three sons, Joshua Adam Lovell of Union City, Justin “Mack” Lovell of Dyersburg and Brandon Lovell Harrell of Halls; his daughter, Britney Lovell of Dyersburg; his grandmother, Estell Lovell of Dyersburg; his sister, Kimberly (Lovell) Deason of Ridgely; two nephews, Jonathon Deason and Matt Deason, both of Ridgely; and his grandson, Trace Harrell.
He was also preceded in death by his grandparents, Odell Lovell and Herbert and Bessie Rinks.
