Charles Franklin Kibbler, 78, of Palmersville, died Sunday, Sept. 30, 2007, at Volunteer Community Hospital in Martin.
Services were held 11 a.m. Thursday at Bowlin Funeral Home, with Bro. Shannon Seaton officiating. Burial was in Morgan Cemetery in Palmersville.
Jimmy Parham, Billy Parham, Bryan Mayo, Walter Riggs, Derrick Spann and Dewey McClure served as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers were Donald Jackson and Jon Michael Everett.
Kibbler was born in Palmersville, son of the late Benjamin H. and Dora Parham Kibbler, He was retired after 25 years as a firefighter for the city of St. Louis, Mo. He was a member of the St. Louis Firefighter’s Association and the N.R.A.
Survivors include his wife, Bessie Weldon Kibbler of Palmersville; one daughter, Donna Faulkner of Rutherforld; three sons, Larry Kibbler of Palmersville, Benny Kibbler of Rolla, Mo., and Terry Kibbler of Whiteman Air Force Base, Mo.; one sister, Katherine Williams of Warren, Mich.; one brother, Fred Kibbler of Palmersville; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
