Annie Lou (Smith) Howard, 74, of Union City died Oct. 5, 2007, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union City.
Graveside services were held 3 p.m. Sunday at Mount Zion Cemetery, with the Rev. Wayne McLean officiating. White-Ranson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
She was born June 30, 1933, in Obion County, daughter of the late Carl Thomas and Otis (James) Smith. She was a beautician and a member of Union City First Church of God.
Survivors include two sons, Terrie Howard of Union City and Jodie Howard of West Melton, Ohio; two grandchildren; four sisters, Fannie Sue Gammons of Union City, Betty McClure of Fulgham, Ky., Louise Lewis of Rogers, Ark., and Farrah Campbell of Rutherford; and two brothers, Eddie Smith of Ball Ground, Ga., and Thomas Smith of Union City.
She was also preceded in death by her sister, Ruth Howard; and three brothers, Granville Smith, Harold Smith and Carl P. Smith.
