Man charged with kidnapping 15-year-old girl in Dyersburg |

DYERSBURG (AP) — A Dyersburg man with a history of mental illness was charged with aggravated kidnapping of a 15-year-old girl after police responded to the sound of a struggle in his apartment, police said. Frank McDonald, 46, was taken into custody Monday after police found the girl nude on a bed and screaming in his apartment. Police said McDonald was nude from the waist down. Police found a knife in his shirt pocket, a claw hammer inside his jacket and a knife tied to his arm. McDonald is being held in the Dyer County Jail without bond.
