Louise Watkins Breeden
Louise Watkins Breeden, 87, of Dresden, died Sunday, Sept. 30, 2007, at her residence.
Services were held 11 a.m. Wednesday at Liberty Apostolic Church near Dresden, with Bro. Ted Wade officiating. Burial was in Liberty Apostolic Cemetery near Dresden. Bowlin Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
Mark Mansfield, Greg Mansfield, Josh Mansfield, Dennis Snider, Adrian Breeden, Jason Breeden, Desmond Breeden, Randy Myrick and Dale Wiseman served as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers were Lyndal Dilday, Terry James, Shane Wade, Jeremy Davis, Mickey Damesworth and Dewayne Mart.
Mrs. Breeden was a native of Stewart County, daughter of the late Oscar and Lena Meeks Watkins. She was a retired factory worker for Kellwood Co., the widow of William Edgar Breeden, and a member of Liberty Apostolic Church near Dresden.
Survivors include four daughters, Petrina (Marlin) Mansfield of Dresden, Patricia (James) Myrick of Martin, Priscilla (Terry) Edwards of Sharon and Pamela (Mitchell) Shane of Greenfield; one son, Charles Edward (Janet) Breeden of Martin; two brothers, Charles Watkins of Gleason and Clarence Watkins of Oak Ridge; 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Betty Sue Breeden; two sisters, Louella Fisher and Lucille Threatt; and six brothers, Luther Watkins, Lurton Watkins, Thomas Watkins, Denny Watkins, Eugene Harris Watkins and Oscar Watkins.
