Completed arrangements are being announced for Edith Lee Harrison, 98, of South Fulton, who died Oct. 2, 2007, at her home.
Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Hornbeak Funeral Home in Fulton, with Miles Mayo officiating. Burial will follow in Fulton’s Wesley Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home 5-8 this evening and from 8 a.m. until the hour of services Thursday.
The family requests that memorials be made to Smith Street Church of Christ, 411 Smith St., South Fulton, TN 38257.
She was born Aug. 17, 1909, in Fulton County, Ky., daughter of the late George Alvis and Ora Lee (Reecer) Haygood. She was the widow of William Harold Harrison, who died in 1966, and was a homemaker and both the oldest member and a charter member of Smith Street Church of Christ.
Survivors include her daughter, Dotty Mae Harrison of South Fulton; and three grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, three nieces and three nephews.
She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Mary Lee Sutton; her grandson, Garland Sutton; two sisters, Hester Jones and Annie Guthrie; and four brothers, James Haygood, George Haygood, Richard Haygood and Tom Haygood.
