Lela Mae Sanders, 52, of Fulton died Sept. 26, 2007, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
Services were set for today at 1 p.m. at United Church of the Living God in Fulton with the Revs. Margaret Pettigrew and Anthony Johnson officiating. Burial was to follow in Greenlea Cemetery in Fulton.
Heavenly Gates Funeral Home in Martin was in charge of arrangements.
She was born Nov. 5, 1954, in Fulton, daughter of the late W. P. and Mamie Morris of Fulton. She graduated from South Fulton High School. The widow of Bill Sanders, she had moved back to Fulton from Chicago. She was employed by McDonald’s.
She is also survived by three daughters and her son-in-law, Diane and Ronnie Nall of Mayfield, Ky., Elina Morris of Hickman, Ky., and Sabrina Morris of Union City; her stepdaughter, Lisa Gilbert of Huntingdon; six grandchildren, Alesha Nall, Jonathan Thomas, Rodney Thomas, Asia Morris, Andre Morris and Anayah Morris; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Mamie and Thomas Foulks of Huntingdon, Dorothy Gunn of Martin and Margaret and Danny Pettigrew Sr. of Fulton; four brothers and two sisters-in-law, Frank Morris of South Fulton, Michael Morris and Larry and Savannah Moody, all of Chicago, and Walter Morris of South Fulton; and several nieces, nephews and cousins
Mrs. Sanders was also preceded in death by her sister and three brothers.
