Michael "Ellik" Busby

The Messenger congratulates Mr. and Mrs. Michael Busby Jr. of Union City on the birth of a son, Michael “Ellik” Busby, at 5:10 a.m. Oct. 20, 2012, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union City. He weighed 4 pounds, 21⁄2 ounces and was 171⁄2 inches long. He is the brother of Bryleigh Busby, 7. His grandparents are Mike and Becky Busby of Hornbeak, Linda Bailey of Obion, Charlie Spillers of Union City and Cindy Pierce of Troy. His great-grandparents are Shirley Pickering, Shirley Kelley and the late James Kelley, all of Union City, Glen and Charolette Pickering of South Fulton, James and Margaret Mathis, the late Robert Flatt and the late Ernest and Helen Pugh, all of Obion, and the late Earl “Bub” Busby of Hickman, Ky. His great-great-grandmother is Evelyn Harris-Burns of Hickman. His mother is the former Misty Haynes of Obion.
