Murray lands new industry

MURRAY, Ky. (AP) — A German company is locating its U.S. headquarters and a manufacturing facility in western Kentucky, producing 120 full-time jobs for Calloway County.
Gov. Steve Beshear’s office says automotive supplier Kemmerich will invest $12.2 million in the project and has received preliminary approval for up to $3 million in tax incentives.
Kemmerich CEO Thomas Bergen said last week the plant will be in a good position to supply auto plants in the Midwest and South.
