Obion County Junior Livestock Association scholarships

AWARDED SCHOLARSHIPS — Five former Obion County Junior Livestock Association members were recently awarded  $500 scholarships from First Citizens National Bank. To qualify for this scholarship, members have to complete nine years of exhibiting animals as a part of the Obion County Fair and have to successfully finish the first semester of college. Sherry Brown (from left) of First Citizens National Bank presented the scholarships to Marina Barclay and Becky Archie, students at the University of Tennessee at Martin; Macy Allison, a student at the University of Tennessee-Chattanooga; Drew Crews, a student at Freed-Hardeman University; and Chelsea Southerland, a student at UT Martin.
