John Avent, 84, of Fulton, formerly of South Fulton, died Jan. 10, 2013, at Parkway Regional Hospital in Fulton.
Funeral services will be held at noon Wednesday at Hornbeak Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in the Greenlea Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 10 a.m. Wednesday until the service hour.
Hornbeak Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
