Abernathy’s Harley-Davidson on West Main Street in Union City hosted a special Cruisin’ for Critters promotion Saturday, with all the proceeds from the event going to Wags & Whiskers, Pudge-N-Pals and Red Fern Animal Shelter. Checking over a Wags & Whiskers membership application were (above, from left) Carolyn Bloebaum and Judy Barker with Wags & Whiskers, Anita Hutchison, and Sue Archer with Pudge-N-Pals. Cruisin’ for Critters included a bike run to Reelfoot Lake, a pet show, pet parade and musical entertainment throughout the afternoon. Wags & Whiskers is trying to start a countywide animal shelter. A pet show Saturday afternoon at Abernathy’s Harley-Davidson attracted a wide range of dog breeds. |
