Posted: Wednesday, September 19, 2012 4:00 pm

The Messenger, September 19, 2012
Obion County Central High School will be hosting Pink Out Day on Oct. 19 and is inviting the entire county to support the effort and wear pink for the day to promote breast cancer awareness.
OCCHS’ Health Occupations Students of America is selling Pink Out Day shirts for $15 each. Orders will be taken until Oct. 10 and a portion of sales will be donated to Obion County Hometown Walk of Hope.
The bright pink shirts will have “Fight like a Rebel” and a heart with a ribbon outline on the back, with the OCCHS HOSA logo and “Pink Out Day 2012” on the front left chest.
To order a shirt, call 796-1756 or email mjohnston@k12tn.net.
In addition, HOSA will be “Pinking Out” the school’s stadium for the last home football game Oct. 19. During halftime, there will be a moment of silence, a pink balloon release and a survivors reception.
Any business which would like to participate in Pink Out Day is asked to provide a photo of employees “Pinked Out” and email it to HOSA’s sponsor for use in the club’s scrapbook. Photos may also be emailed to mjohnston@k12tn.net.
