Grand Jury issues 40 indictments
Drugs and thefts top the list of indictments handed down by a Weakley County Grand Jury last week. Among the 40 felony cases, two were sealed indictments.
Those indicted by the September term of the Weakley County Grand Jury Sept. 4 included:
• Ricky Dewayne Bailey, Jr. – Possession of controlled substance with intent; resisting arrest and evading arrest;
• Christina K. Barner – Aggravated burglary and theft;
• Cameron Dale Kirby – Aggravated burglary and theft;
• Candice Michelle Kirby – Aggravated burglary and theft;
• Andrew S. Blakemore – Burglary (four counts) and theft (five counts);
• T.T. Canada – Initiation of process to manufacture methamphetamine (two counts); possession of controlled substance with intent; simple possession (two counts); promotion of meth manufacture; drug paraphernalia (two counts) and failure to appear;
• Rodger Dale Cook – Possession of controlled substance with intent; unlawful drug paraphernalia and domestic assault;
• Gregory Dan Copeland – Initiation of process to manufacture methamphetamine; promotion of meth manufacture; drug paraphernalia; simple possession; theft and possession of a firearm during dangerous felony;
• Wanda Jeanette Copeland – Initiation of process to manufacture methamphetamine; promotion of meth manufacture; drug paraphernalia and simple possession;
• Matthew Blake Harrison – Theft;
• James Frederick Holland – Aggravated assault;
• Scotty Hopper – Aggravated burglary; theft; initiation of process to manufacture methamphetamine and possession of controlled substance with intent;
• Robert L. Hutchinson – Evading arrest; revoked driver’s license and reckless driving;
• Thomas Allen Johnson – Possession of controlled substance with intent; drug paraphernalia; prohibited weapon and light law;
• Jeremy K. Jones – Burglary (three counts); theft (four counts) and vandalism;
• Rhonda T. Jones – Aggravated assault and carrying weapon on school property;
• Cameron Dale Kirby – Aggravated burglary; theft and violation of quarantine;
• Christina K. Barner – Aggravated burglary; theft and violation of quarantine;
• Eric Lee Lewis – Initiation of process to manufacture methamphetamine and indecent exposure;
• Preston Ray Odle – Aggravated cruelty to animals;
• Levi Nash Evans – Aggravated cruelty to animals;
• Richard Lewis Odom Jr. – Manufacture of controlled substance and drug paraphernalia;
• Barry Ray Long – Manufacture of controlled substance and drug paraphernalia;
• Deborah Sue Simmons – Manufacture of controlled substance and drug paraphernalia;
• Jason Lee Sawyers – Aggravated burglary and theft;
• Dexter Devars Sowell – Assault;
• James Clyde Stewart Jr. – Theft (three counts);
• Ricky Lee Kee – Theft (three counts);
• Jason Paul Tackett – Initiation of process to manufacture methamphetamine; promotion of meth manufacture; drug paraphernalia and possession of controlled substance with intent;
• Jessica M. Graham – Initiation of process to manufacture methamphetamine; promotion of meth manufacture; drug paraphernalia and possession of controlled substance with intent;
• Charles Anthony Tillman – Theft;
• Dewana Sleene Tipton – Vehicular assault;
• Lester L. Glassburn – DUI (two counts);
• Warren Russell Tyler – Manufacture of controlled substance and possession of controlled substance with intent;
• Terence R. Vanwagoner – Forgery (two counts);
• Bryan Scott Watson – Theft;
• Charles Anthony Tillman – Theft; and
• Tina M. Christiansen Zoeller – TennCare fraud.
Beginning this week, those facing felony charges will have their court appearances in front of Circuit Court Judge William Acree.
