Westview, Greenfield have top golfers Westview and Green-field had both the top teams and medalists in the prep golf action Tuesday at Pesimmon Hills in Sharon. Led by Houston Haag’s 39, the Chargers won the boys’ showdown with a team score of 174. Jordan Long shot a 41, Emmett Daniel fired a 46 and Barrett Belote finished his round with a 47. McKenzie was second with a 177, led by Keegan Riley’s 41. Tony Robinson shot a 41, Chris Reddick had a 42, Mason Hilliard fired a 49 and Damon Biddle had a 53 as Greenfield finished with a team total of 185. Peyton Williams shot a 52 to lead the Dresden players. Joseph Martin added a 58, and Devin Drushal shot a 67 for the Lions. In girls’ action McCall Scates led the field with a 51 and Ashley Tucker was right behind with a 52 as Greenfield finished with a 103. McKenzie totaled a 111 in girls’ action.
