CANNON RETIRES – District Attorney General Tommy Thomas (right) and Obion County Sheriff Jerry Vastbinder (left) recently presented a plaque to Assistant District Attorney Jim Cannon thanking him for his 21 years of service as the director of the 27th Judicial District Drug Task Force. Upon Cannon’s retirement as director, Thomas praised him, saying, “The integrity of the program was never questioned during Jim Cannon’s leadership”.  District Attorney Investigator Rick Kelly was appointed to succeed Cannon.
