Briefly Maryville’s late blitz puts away Alcoa Nick Myers rushed for 67 yards and two touchdowns and threw for 125 yards and two more scores, and Maryville rallied past rival Alcoa, 42-24, with 21 unanswered points in the final 8:07 of Sunday’s ESPN-televised game at Maryville Maryville (2-0) has now won consecutive games in the series and 31 games in a row. Alcoa (1-1) took a 24-21 lead thanks to a 5-yard touchdown run by sophomore Jaquez Tyson late in the third quarter and a 34-yard field goal by Austin Wallace with 8:07 to play. Myers answered for Maryville, constructing an eight-play, 55-yard scoring drive. SF Booster Club schedules meeting The South Fulton Middle School and High School Athletic Booster Club will meet 6 p.m. Tuesday in the school library. All members, prospective members, parents, coaches, administrators, and supporters of South Fulton Middle School and High School athletes and cheerleaders are urged to attend, according to a club spokesman.
