Blake and Taylor Longacre of Martin

LIL‘ DOWNTOWN DIVAS – Blake and her younger sister Taylor helped raise money for future events for the Historic Downtown Martin Business District Saturday during the group’s Family Night Out. The little entrepreneurs sold candy and popcorn raising about $40 from the sales. The Family Night Out event boasted local talent from the Step Crew and Suzanne Peckham and her partner Mosby. The Step Crew provided interpretive dance, while Miss Peckham and Mosby offered new country music. The event was a partnership between Historic Downtown Martin and the City of Martin Parks and Recreation Department. A free outdoor movie was shown, while guests enjoyed concessions and entertainment in Virginia Weldon Park. The next fundraiser, Oktoberfest, is set for the second weekend in October. Blake and Taylor are the daughters of Kim and Jeff Longacre of Martin.
