Miss Petty to wed Middleton on Aug. 31

The engagement and forthcoming marriage of Megan Nicole Petty of Trenton and Brandon Michael Middleton of Dyer are being announced today.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Brian and Kristi Petty of Trenton. Her grandparents are Norval and Odessa Jonas of Union City, Bud and Carolyn Cranfield of Trenton and Billy and Penny Petty of Kenton.
She is a 2006 graduate of Peabody High School in Trenton. She earned a degree in nursing from the University of Tennessee at Martin in 2011. She is employed as a nurse at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
The groom-elect is the son of Jane Riley of Dyer.
He attended Peabody High School in Trenton and graduated from Westview High School in Martin in 2007. He is employed at Trenton Light and Water.
The couple will wed in an outdoor ceremony at 7:45 p.m. Aug. 31 at 81 Trenton Highway in Trenton. Music will begin at 7:15.
A reception will be held immediately following the ceremony.
In case of inclement weather, the ceremony and reception will be held at New Way Christian Ministries, located at 2197 U.S. Highway 45 Bypass South in Trenton.
