Doo-Wop event slated

The Strand Theatre in downtown Tiptonville will hold “Forever Doo-Wop: A Tribute to the ’50s and ’60s” at 7 p.m. Saturday.
Tickets are $10 each and refreshments will be offered at intermission.
All proceeds will go to Tiptonville Main Street projects and historic preservation.
Tiptonville Main Street needs your support to develop and promote Tiptonville’s rich history, unique geography and dedicated citizens and to expand and recruit businesses while providing a friendly atmosphere and events that showcase community pride, a spokesman said.
