LEAVING KUWAIT – The Tennessee Army National Guard’s 230th Engineer Battalion of Trenton transferred authority to the 505th Engineer Battalion of the North Carolina National Guard Friday at Camp Arijan, Kuwait. During the transfer of authority ceremony, Union City-based 913th Engineer Co. commander Capt. Jacob Partridge (left) and 1st Sgt. Marty Ables (right) cased the 913th Engineer Co.’s colors while Spc. Johnathan Cadwell held the guidon. The 913th was replaced in Kuwait by the 875th Engineer Co., also of the North Carolina National Guard.
