Weakley County native graduates from TLETA

Lacey Ann (Wainscott) Kitarogers, formerly from the Obion and Weakley County areas, recently graduated from the Tennessee Law Enforcement Training Academy in Nashville. She completed the rigorous 10-week program required by the Peace Officer Standards and Training Commission (POST) for all Tennessee police officers. She is employed by the Clarksville Police Department. There were 52 officers from across the State of Tennessee who graduated during the ceremony. Chief of Police Al Ansley of the Clarksville Police Department was the graduation speaker. Weakley County Sheriff Mike Wilson represented the Tennessee Sheriff’s Association and also took part in the ceremony. Published in The WCP 8.14.12
