The Ken-Tenn Chapter of the Southern Cruisers Riding Club is involved in a collection drive to benefit the Ronald McDonald House in Memphis.
Members of the club are collecting items needed to stock the pantry at the Ronald McDonald House. They will be collecting items until Sept. 15, when they will hold a motorcycle run to deliver the supplies to the Ronald McDonald House.
“We are hoping to fill a semi-trailer full of supplies,” club first officer Michael Cole said. “Buddy’s Wrecker Service has donated a trailer for us to stock.”
Also, the motorcycle club is doing a mystery run on Sept. 29 to benefit St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital in Memphis.
“We need names and pictures of people from the Ken-Tenn area that have been treated at St. Jude. We are doing a wall honoring local St. Jude patients,” Cole said.
