Board members prep for fundraising campaign
Board members prep for fundraising campaign | Carl Perkins Center for the Prevention of Child Abuse- Weakley and Obion Counties

Carl Perkins board members Chad Snider, Tommy Legins, Jennifer Hampton and Marvin Flatt

LOOKING AHEAD – Members of the Carl Perkins Advisory Board fundraising committee (from left, clockwise) Chad Snider, president Tommy Legins, Jennifer Hampton and Marvin Flatt met recently at the local Carl Perkins Center to make plans for upcoming fundraisers for the center, which serves Weakley and Obion counties. Members of the board are gearing up for the annual 2012 Circles of Hope telethon. The telethon will be broadcast live on WBBJ-TV ABC Sunday from 1-10 p.m. in Jackson at the Carl Perkins Civic Center. Community members are welcome to call in during that time to make a “pledge” to the local Carl Perkins Center. All money specified during a pledge for the local center will benefit families in only Weakley and Obion counties. The local center only receives pledges designated for Weakley-Obion Carl Perkins Center for the Prevention of Child Abuse during the telethon. Those who are interested in donating to the center are asked to watch Channel 7 Sunday for details on how to make a contribution for the local center.
