Posted: Wednesday, August 8, 2012 8:00 pm

The American Cancer Society has announced three additional personnel moves for the West Tennessee market office in Jackson involving health initiative and executive staff.
Lindsey Ferrell has been named Health Initiatives Director for Field Work by the Society.
She was previously the Health Initiatives Representative for the market, which serves Madison, Carroll, Chester, Crockett, Decatur, Dyer, Gibson, Hardeman, Hardin, Haywood, Henderson, Henry, Lake, Lauderdale, McNairy, Obion and Weakley counties.
In her new position, Ferrell will serve West Tennessee, North Alabama and Arkansas.
Ferrell, of Medina, is a graduate of the University of Tennessee at Martin. She is married to Tommy Ferrell and they have a son, Zach.
Christy Futrell has also been named the new Health Initiatives Representative for West Tennessee.
She will be involved in supporting and promoting American Cancer Society patient support programs and services, such as Look Good Feel Better and Road To Recovery transportation assistance programs and Hope Lodge facilities in Memphis and Nashville.
Futrell, of Jackson, had served as the market’s Associate Executive Director and been involved in income development for the past eight years.
A Lambuth University graduate, she is married to Chuck Futrell and they have a daughter, Hannah.
Peggy Donaldson has been named the new Associate Executive Director for the market.
She will work with new Executive Director Donna Stines in overseeing ACS development and mission-related activities.
Donaldson has worked as a Community Representative for Crockett, Dyer, Haywood, Lake and Lauderdale counties for one year.
She had previously worked with the Madison County Election Commission for 13 years.
Donaldson, also of Jackson, is married to Keith Donaldson. They have two children, Kelli and Braden.
The American Cancer Society works to save lives and create a world with less cancer and more birthdays by helping people stay well through early detection and prevention efforts and get well by offering information, support and programs and services to cancer patients and caregivers.
The Society also works to find cures through research to better detect, treat and prevent cancer, plus rallies communities together to fight back against the disease through advocacy, awareness and events like Relay For Life, Runway For A Cure and Making Strides Against Breast Cancer.
