Letter to the WCP Editor - 7.31.12

To the Editor,
Whenever I read this article about Mr. Dempsey, or “Tadpole,” it was disgusting.
Why, you say; because for anybody to call this man a transient is terrible.
Personally I didn’t know Mr. Dempsey. At different times, whenever me or my daughter were outside working in the yard, he would always speak.
Sometimes he would talk with us. He appeared to be a quiet, soft-spoken, “not-out-to-harm-anybody” type of person.
Shame on whoever wrote this article, if you call this good news reporting, by using that word.
First, he was a “human being.” Next, he was known as “Tadpole.”
Yes, he will be missed by many people also.
