Counterfeit bills found

Police are investigating the discovery of two counterfeit $50 bills recently passed at a Union City convenience store.
The bills were discovered last week at Little General No. 22 at 2129 East Reelfoot Ave., according to a Union City Police Department report.
The first bill apparently was passed between 3 and 3:30 p.m., while the second bill was passed between 10:30 and 11 p.m., police reported.
