Accents of Praise of Savannah, along with local Lowell Wiley, will be at Sharon ballpark Saturday, from 7-10 p.m. for a benefit for Jolene Parfait, who has diabetes and renal failure. When she gets strong enough, she will need a kidney transplant. Also, hamburger, chip and drink plates will be served for $5 with all proceeds going for this need. Everyone is asked to bring lawn chairs and/or blanket and enjoy this anointed singing and fellowship, which is all for a good cause. Accents of Praise include Eric Isbell and his wife, Rachel; their children, Autumn and Kaleb; and friend, Lori Simmons. Isbell has his own recording studio, where they record their music. Both he and his wife write most of the songs they sing. Even daughter, Autumn, who is 10 years old, has written a couple of songs. To hear a taste of this beautiful, unique blend of Southern Gospel/Country and praise and worship, visit them on the web at www.accentsofpraise.com. Community members are also invited to attend Abundant Life Assembly of God in Sharon Sunday morning, where the Accents of Praise will be singing during worship time, starting at 10:45. Everyone is invited to join the church family for a wonderful time in the Lord. Published in The WCP 7.19.12 |
