Ninth District meeting to be held

The Ninth District Commander’s Tour for District 9 will give Legionnaires an opportunity to meet the newly elected Department Commander, West Tennessee Vice-Commander, Ninth District Commander and the Membership Chairman and at the same time kick off the 2013 membership drive. Department Commander will outline his areas of emphasis for the upcoming year. Department Membership Chairman will explain membership concept. Department Adjutant will detail upcoming Legion events and significant dates.
The date and time for the event will be Aug. 16 at 6:30 p.m. for the dinner and meeting at Post 118 in Milan at the American Legion. The price will be $8 per person. The menu will consist of drunken chicken, potato casserole, with all the trimmings, desserts, coffee or tea.
