I would like to ask that my readers take a moment and say a special prayer for me. I am having more testing done this week and perhaps next week and I am nervous even though I know God is in control of the outcome.
I try to be strong in many ways, but the time comes that I need my family and my friends, and this is one of those times. So please just stop and say a quick prayer for me during these tests that God be in control of the doctors and staff concerned with this and that He wrap His loving arms around me during this to hold me next to His heart. I appreciate all my readers and know you will do this, as will my family!
Take time this week to visit with those who are sick or even just go see an old friend whom you have lost touch with in recent days. It will mean a lot more than you know. Sometimes just knowing that people care means a great deal.
Things are bustling around town. School kids are everywhere so be extra careful.
Looking for things for your kids to do? There are lots of activities available for them.
If you are looking for something for your child to do, then contact Parks and Recreation Department by calling Bill Bostwick at 456-2031 to see what is on their schedule.
Also, if you just need information about our town, you can contact city hall at 456-2122.
We also have a public library on Main Street. They have computers, books, videos and many new releases each week. Check it out. Its number is 456-2707.
There are a lot of activities for the seniors, too. Be sure you stop by and get their calendar. For more information about Sharon Senior Center, call 456-2213.
If you want your information in our birthday and anniversary list, please email it to me or call me with the information. You will find my info at the bottom of the article.
On Saturday, May Dell Brewer, Morgan Harris and Scott Chandler celebrated their birthdays.
On July 4, Jimmy and Debbie Carrington will celebrate their 31st anniversary and Elsie Essary will celebrate a birthday that day, too.
The thought for the week: “I don’t care how many times my heart will be broken, I will never lose faith in love. For I believe that in the end, God will lead me to the right person.” I have another thought for you too: “If God is all you have, you have all you need,” from  John 14:8.
If you have a thought you would like to share with the readers, feel free to drop me an email or call me and I will put it in my article. My email is jaegardner@frontiernet.net and phone number is 456-9823.
Well, for today, that is all the news that is news from the Sharon community. Remember to continue to pray for one another, our community and our military. May God have mercy on our land and bless you all. Published in The WCP 6.28.12
