Comm. Bank 10, E.W. James 0
Mike Rutland tossed a one-hitter, striking out 10, to lead the Bankers to a shutout win.
Tristan Jernigan was 2-for-3 with a double, three RBI and a run, Rutland helped himself with a double and two runs, Cameron Babb tripled, drove in a run and scored once, Davis Odle and Braydon Boucher each had a hit and a run, Boucher driving in three runs, and Jamison Blackwell singled.
Steven Aldridge had the Grocers’ only hit, and Blake Berner was the losing hurler.
Kohler 6, Terry Petty 2
Kohler needed just three hits to score six runs, helped by six walks and an error from Petty.
Dylan Porch, Jacob Hyde and Allan Russel all had a hit for Kohler, Russel with three RBI and Hyde with one.
All three players, plus Jason Messick, Garrett Northam and Colton Easterwood, scored once.
Drake Brown was 2-for-2 with a double and a run, Dylan Riddle doubled, and Sam Guess, Will Harris, Tripp Conley and Landon Alexander all singled for Petty.
Easterwood was the winning pitcher, and Jack Guess took the loss.
Terry Petty 7, Doctor’s Clinic 3
Cace Cook was 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI to lead Terry Petty in a game that saw the teams combine for nine errors and eight walks.
Sam Guess, Jack Guess and Jordan Fowler all had a hit for Petty, Jack Guess scoring twice and Fowler knocking in two runs.
Landon Alexander, Dylan Riddle, Chandler McKinney and Tripp Conley all crossed the plate once for TP.
Colton Carr doubled and Kaleb Dowell singled, each driving in a run for the Clinic.
Maya Black, Roy Lee Wisdom and Matthew Harrell all scored once for DC.
Sam Guess was the winning pitcher over Dowell.
Kohler 14, E.W. James 2
Kohler had seven hits and took advantage of five errors and six walks from the Grocers.
Allan Russel tripled, drove in three runs and scored twice, Jason Messick doubled and scored, and Elliot Tomlinson doubled, drove in two runs and scored for Kohler.
Dylan Porch, Garrett Northam, Colton Easterwood and Hunter Brown all had a hit for Kohler, Porch and Northam driving in two runs and Easterwood scoring three times.
Blake Berner tripled and doubled for both EWJ hits, scoring once. Derek Taylor also scored for the Grocers.
Northam was the winning pitcher over Cruz Kepner.
Comm. Bank 12, Coke 1
The Bankers banged out 11 hits, Tristan Jernigan 3-for-3 with three runs and three RBI and Mike Rutland 3-for-3 with two runs to lead the way.
Davis Odle was 2-for-3 with three runs and two RBI, Cameron Babb was 2-for-2 with an RBI, and Clint Baker tripled for the Bankers.
Jernigan homered, and Rutland, Odle and Jernigan all doubled. Odle was also the winning pitcher.
Jackson Bruff doubled for Coke’s only hit, driving in Cooper Hurt.
Dylan Ruiz suffered the loss.
Kohler 8, Doctor’s Clinic 2
Kohler scored eight runs on three hits and eight walks, Jacob Hyde with a hit, three RBI and two runs.
Jason Messick and Colton Easterwood each had a hit, Messick scoring twice and driving in a run and Easterwood with a run and an RBI.
Dylan Porch scored twice, and Peyton Wright crossed the plate once for Kohler.
Colton Carr was 3-for-3 with a double and a run, JayLee Hobbs doubled and scored, and Matthew Harrell had a hit and two RBI for DC.
Easterwood was the winning pitcher over Carr.
