Window shot in UC

A Union City woman has reported to the Union City Police Department that someone shot a bullet through her window.
Opal Jones of 1019 Granger St. told police on Monday that when she arrived home from church on Sunday afternoon, she found a piece of metal on her bed. Not thinking anything about it, she threw it away.
It was on Monday that she noticed a hole in her curtain and opened the curtain to find a bullet hole in her blind and window.
The report states it was a .223 round and it appeared to come from across Highway 22. There were no reports of gunshots in the area.
