Bank names insurance chief

Gail Dyer has been named president of First State Insurance.
First State Insurance was established in 2004 and offers a full line of insurance services including auto, business, homeowners, disability, life, renters and specialty lines.  
Ms. Dyer has been employed by First State for the past five years.  She has been working in the insurance industry since 1980 and her most current title was office manager for First State Insurance in Martin and Union City.
Ms. Dyer will be responsible for the management and development of the insurance division throughout Tennessee.
She attended the University of Tennessee at Martin for a two-year course in business administration.
Ms. Dyer is the manager and a member of the David Johnson Chorus and she lives in Dresden.
