Fourth meth lab found in county

An apparent meth lab discovered by Weakley County Sheriff’s deputies last week outside of Martin is the fourth operation found this year by the department.
According to a press release issued by the WCSD, investigators executed a search warrant at 142 White Road north of Martin Friday.
T.T. Canada, 36, was arrested and charged with manufacture of methamphetamine and possession of methamphetamine as a result of the alleged meth lab discovery.
The Greenfield Police Department assisted in the investigation.
The execution of another search warrant by WCSD investigators Feb. 28 also led to the arrest of three people in connection with another apparent lab in Ore Springs.
According to a release, WCSD investigators executed a search warrant at 955 Jolley Springs Road in Ore Springs that day.
The three people arrested and charged with promotion of methamphetamine manufacture, possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia charges included, 32-year-old Michael Whitney of 955 Jolley Springs Road; 58-year-old William “Super” David Allen of South Fulton and 42-year-old Jacqueline Zickefoose of Latham.
Zickefoose was also charged with filing a false report after she allegedly gave officers a fake name during her arrest.
The week before, deputies uncovered two apparent meth labs; one between Latham and Palmersville and a second north of Palmersville.
Four people were arrested as a result of the discovery of the apparent meth labs.
The discovery of the meth labs grows the list to four in 2012; the same number of meth labs found in Weakley County in 2011.
The total number of apparent meth labs found in the state this year is 386.
Anyone with information regarding meth activity is urged to call the WCSD at 364-5454.
Information will remain confidential.
