STUCK IN THE MIDDLE — Union City freshman guard Kealie Reaves protects the ball while being double-teamed by Wartburg’s Chelsey Lowe (32) and Kellie Kidd in the first quarter of Thursday’s TSSAA Class A Girls’ Basketball State Tournament game at the Murphy Center in Murfreesboro. Reaves did a good job taking care of the ball and had two steals on the defensive end as UC jumped out to a 9-1 lead and never looked back in a 56-33 win. UC will play Jackson County in the semifinals today at 5:30 p.m. |
