Westview senior Harrison Moore (left) accepts his Mr. Football Class AA Back finalist plaque from former Tennessee Titans player Chris Sanders during the awards ceremony Monday in Nashville. "He may not have quite the stats that some of our previous offensive winners have had, but he's every bit the player that those other guys were," WHS head coach Don Coady said. The two-way standout passed for 671 yards and two TDs on 39-of-71 passes, rushed 94 times for 712 yards and 14 TDs, returned 17 kickoffs for 422 yards and two TDs and seven punts for 137 yards and one score. Defensively, he tallied 103 tackles, forced two fumbles and recovered two fumbles. Alcoa's Randall Cobb won the Mr. Football Award. WCP 12.04.07 |
