Founders Day to be observed at McCabe

The Martin Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta will hold its National Founders Day program at 3 p.m. Sunday, March 28, at McCabe United Methodist Church. The Theme is “Delta Sigma Theta—A Sisterhood Called to Serve: Transforming Lives, Impacting Communities.” The speaker will be Dr. Nanette Wells-Brooks of Jackson. She received her B.S. and M.S. from the University of Alabama and a Doctorate of Science in Nursing from the University of Memphis Health Sciences. Dr. Brooks is employed by The Dyersburg Regional Medical Center and provides comprehensive anesthesia services for general, vascular, thoracic, OB/GYN, orthopedic, ear nose and throat, and maxilla-facial surgery, obstetric and postoperative epidural services. Dr. Brooks, a Diamond Life Member of Delta, is currently the West Tennessee State Coordinator and attends Zion Church in Jackson.
