Post offices in Obion County will close at their regular times today and only two are postmarking returns with today’s date if they are dropped off before midnight.

Postal officials in Union City and Rives have stated there are no special hours at their locations but have informed The Messenger if the returns are in their offices before midnight, they will be postmarked with today’s date.

Officials in Kenton, Obion, Woodland Mills, Hornbeak, Samburg and Troy stated only returns brought to their office before regular closing today will be postmarked with today’s date. They suggested residents bring their returns to the Union City office instead.
