McCabe United Methodist Church in Martin will be celebrating Women’s History Month with special programs this weekend.
On Friday at 7 p.m. there will be a Women in Praise Concert at the church.
At 1 p.m. Saturday, the Honors Day Program at the University of Tennessee at Martin student center will focus on “Honoring Our She-Roes of the Faith, Home and Community.”
On Sunday at 4 p.m. Gloria McLendon, the “first lady” of Emmanuel Church of God in Christ in Tiptonville, will be the speaker for a worship service.
The community is invited to attend, a spokesman said.
