Skyhawk standout Lester Hudson rises above a pair of Tennessee Tech defenders to let loose a shot in the paint during UT Martin's 93-75 victory in the Ohio Valley Conference Tournament quarterfinal round Tuesday night in the Elam Center. Hudson poured in a career-high 42 points, including eight connections from behind the 3-point line. With the win, UT Martin advances to the tourney semifinals. The No. 1 seeded Skyhawks (22-8) will play No. 4 Morehead State at 6 on Friday night at the Sommet Center in Nashville. UT Martin is making its second consecutive trip to the semifinal round. "Last year's tournament experience will help us as we head to Nashville. We know what to expect this time," Skyhawk head coach Bret Campbell said. "We know very well how it felt to lose by one point last year. I think this team is going to go up there and win a championship." A win over Morehead State will advance UT Martin to the OVC championship game to be played at 7 on Saturday night.
