Dorothy Snead

Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Oakwood Cemetery, located near Clinton, Ky. The Rev. Judd Mowery will officiate.
There will be no visitation and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery just prior to service time. Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangement.
Mrs. Snead was born Dec. 16, 1923, in Hickman, Ky., daughter of the late James H. and Argie (Williams) Provow. She was a homemaker and was a Baptist.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Nathan Tanner of Fulton; her son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Betty Snead of Springfield; her granddaughter, Wendy Evans of Clinton; her great-grandson, Justin Evans of Clinton; and four great-great-grandchildren, Halle Evans, Gavin Evans and Jackson Evans, all of Clinton, and Hayes Kirk of Murray, Ky.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George A. Snead Sr.; her son, George A. Snead Jr.; her great-granddaughter, Lacey Evans Henderson; two brothers, James H. Provow and Ernest Provow; and three sisters, Irene Spann, Aleta Trusty and Nell Lunsford.
